Casinos, community newspapers, game shows, television stations, websites and gamblers who benefit from gambling. These are some of the most common and known agents of the society that promotes gambling.

Casinos are buildings or facilities that accommodate certain types of gambling games and activities. They are commonly built near or combined with restaurants, retail shopping, cruise ships and other tourist attractions. Originally, it means a small villa, summerhouse or pavilion. Also referred to as bordello or "closed house" in modern Italy, the first known casinos was established in Venice. It is only during the 19th century that the term "casino" evolved to include other public buildings where pleasurable activities, including gambling and certain sports took place.

Casinos promote gambling by using television stations to broadcast advertisements. These came after the United States Supreme Court ruled out that in states where casino gambling is legal television stations may broadcast and promote it. U.S. Supreme Court's unanimous decision overturned the restrictions placed by the Federal Communications Commission on casinos restricting them on advertising their entertainment and accomodations.

Community newspapers also promote gambling by having a space for gambling ads in their issues as well as covering casino gaming.

Game shows also promotes gambling by having people join in their game. Such example is the "Lucky Case Game" popularly known as "Deal or no Deal". This is done by inviting viewers during the broadcast to play the "Lucky Case Game"by choosing which of the six on-screen gold colored briefcases is the lucky case.

In cooperation with game shows another agent promoting gambling are websites. Lets take the "Lucky Case Game" as an example. In the game what people or viewers do is to submit their choice via internet for free. And after the program ends the winning briefcase is revealed and the winners are again entered into a random drawing. When you win in the random draw you will have as much as $10,000.

Finally, talking about gambling who else are the number one promoters but the gamblers themselves. There are successful gamblers who win millions every gambling session, and they make good testimonies of their winnings. To whom can we get actual events but from them who made gambling a part of their lives. They may be men or women, novice or expert and they might have different reasons for gambling but we will all agree that their main goal is to win the game.
